Koki Bonheur by muse villas

We stayed at Koki Bonheur for 12 nights, it was part of our trip in Mauritius. Located on the east coast, it might be a bit windy but the comfort and luxury inside the villa makes you forget about it. The staff is always there to help! Before, during or after you’ll have a private villa host (Gregory for us) that will help you plan your stay, from the activities, visits, food tours, private chef experience, you name it! They’ll make sure to make the bookings, they can arrange the transport, put you in contact with the right person, change your plans last minute if needed, from A to Z, a real full-service! You’ll have some people there to help with the cleaning & laundry, special thanks to Sandra! Burty, the handyman, who will clean the beach, repair the pump or even clean your rental car at the end of the stay!! Just wow! And of course, I can’t forget about the most perfect and care-loving babysitter they provided for our 4months old baby. Thank you very much Sofie! You are probably the best person we met during our month in Mauritius, you went above & beyond our expectations. It was a pleasure to meet you, we would have loved to take you back to Belgium with us and we can’t wait to come back to Mauritius! The renting of this place might sound and look expensive but trust me, you’ll be surrounded by people that will be hard to ever forget. The level of service provided is very close to perfect!

Partnership of muse villa (One&Only): Muse villa has an agreement/partnership with a resort « One & Only St Geran » located on the other side of the bay. I did my diving over there (amazing diving shop by the way!). I asked to allow my family (+babysitter) to access the resort while diving. After a lot of discussion, we were allowed inside, we spent 200€ on a lunch and then we wanted to experience their heated pool with our baby. After a few minutes in the pool, we have been asked to get out as we were not allowed to get in the pool or the sea while being at that resort, even though the muse villa has an agreement with them. While getting ready to leave the One&Only, I needed some cash, I went to the reception to check if it was possible to withdraw cash with them, the receptionist count the money in front of me, than asks me my room number which I answer that I’m staying at muse villa. And his answer was that I could go to the closest ATM, 10min away. Ok… thank you. It still feels like I’ve been treated as pest by the people from The One & Only. After discussing the matter with muse villa, there was apparently a miscommunication and that shouldn’t have happened. Well, ok, that might be the case… We asked to try again the One&Only facilities but we got the excuse that they were fully booked then… yeah sure 3 people extra on their beach is probably life changing for their gigantic resort. But they were ready to offer us a lunch… which was kindly refused as you can imagine. All in all, do not count too much on enjoying the facilities of the partners of muse villa, I don’t know to which extent they have a partnership but our experience was a complete failure that I wish no one else will ever experience.

Great and spacious villa. The house staff were friendly, kept the villa immaculately clean and served a very good breakfast. Concierge Gregory from Muse Villas looked after us very well and all activities booked through him were perfect. We enjoyed two diners with the chef and this was a great experience. If you like the privacy of a luxury villa and be very well looked after, then consider Muse Villas. We will be going back.
