"Disappointing at first but the place grew on us and we began to like it"

5.0

Nice roomy bedroom with twin beds TV workled well with iplayer etc.. Visit to museum and history of the site

Bleak location on arrival as facing inductrial work going on . Despite emails which were mainly about house rules there was very little sence of welcome . Very impersonal Third party bed was not comfortable and diffcult to assenbles as slightly faluty Onlu 2 glasses and two bowls for 3 people. The microwave at ground level was divvlt to manage .

"Would definitely stay again!"

9.0

Great facilities, for the most part very clean, nice touches like a few board games and cleaning products. The contact person was very helpful, friendly and prompt. Would stay again.

There was a slightly musty smell as in a mobile home, but I imagine it is due to it being a Nissan hut. It was fine once we opened the windows for a while. Also the silicone on one side of the shower looked mouldy.

"An historical site with accommodation that is cosy and comfortable enough."

7.0

An unusual property, but very clean and comfortable. Perthshire sure has some stunning scenery.

Large bathroom with the smallest of wash hand basins! Couldn't even wash your face as tap couldn't be moved. Can't understand why a normal size basin wasn't installed. The shower head needs changing, it had water spouting out in all directions. Brought food for cooking, couldn't figure out the oven, no instructions available in hut!! Got fish supper at chippie!

Lovely experience, huts are renovated to a good spec. Location is stunning. Didn't get to experience the museum as it was closed which was a shame.

Microwave/cooker combi as could only make one thing at a time really, sofa bed wasn't very comfy. Had some trouble with the WiFi but managed to resolve it.
