My daughter and I stay at the Holman when we come to Salem. We love the Hotel and the location. The employees are friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Normally I would choose a room on-line, but this was a last minute decision to stay, so the lady at the front desk assigned us a room. Our room was facing the busy street and so there was traffic noise and the people in the room above us were noisy (stomping around). Next time I will definitely choose my room!

Beautiful hotel, excellent service, restaurant on the property as well as a small walk up cafe and great location.

We were missing a black out drape on our window but thankfully I wear an eye mask. Also our room was next to the road so we could hear the traffic. But I’ve been with louder rooms on other states so with tv on or just being tired from exploring it didn’t bother me after the first day.

The double room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was large with the sink in a separate area, which we like. Parking was easy with their valet. It was within walking distance to the Capitol and downtown area. Also liked we could easily control the heat and cooling.

It is on a busy and car noisy intersection so bring ear plugs if that sort of noise bothers you. We are still trying to get used to having to pay for parking at hotels.
