Sonder Ovation

Surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The location was good - not too close and not too far from the main sites.

Informations bien reçues la veille. Excellent emplacement pour visiter Philadelphie à pied L’appartement est neuf, on ne manque de rien Machine à laver + sèche linge + lessive disponible, au top quand on fait un road trip en famille. Le roof top est extra, belle vue et des équipements confortables pour s’y poser en famille J’ai vu des avis sur les problèmes d’insonorisation, nous n’avons pas eu cela, nous sommes en pleine ville des US donc oui un peu de bruit la nuit mais sans plus.

Ce qui n’est pas du tout à la hauteur c’est le matelas du canapé lit. Nos enfants ont du passer trois nuit avec des ressorts dans le dos ! Avez-vous testé vos matelas? Quel dommage car tout le reste est EXTRA. Un sur matelas est indispensable. Nous avons du trouvé des astuces pour qu’ils puissent dormir…. 😒

Die Unterkunft ist sehr hellhörig und die Hauptstraße direkt vor dem Schlafzimmer. Ohrstöpsel sind vom Vermieter kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt

It was comfy and nice apartment. They were prepared that it might be loud outside and left us earplugs. Beds were comfortable even the pullout couch.

Everything was ok but nobody there, no reception.

Tout était bien organisé, facile, propre et confortable. L’entrée avec un code était bien pratique. Le rooftop était magnifique.

La vue sur un mur de l’unique fenêtre de l’appartement. L’absence de lumière naturelle dans la chambre. La machine à glace et à eau froide du lobby ne fonctionnait pas.

I stayed at Sonder Ovation on July 25-27. I booked through Marriott and it was going to cost $754. A few weeks later I see that it is $694 a night for the same apartment so I rebooked it. I didn't;t see any credit coming back to my credit card so I communicated with Sonder online and asked about the credit back. I received a response from a person named Dawid and he said the credit on your bill has been posted and will be restored to your credit card upon settlement of the bill. The apartment location was good and the building seemed secured. We use the virtual key provided on the Sonder app and it does not work. We called and they said just use the code instead. A little less convenient but OKI guess. We get inside and picked up food from a store. It is then we realize that they have all of the kitchen supplies EXCEPT FOR UTENSILS. We searched everywhere and then went down to the lobby where you are supposed to be able to get supplies but there were no utensils there either. Our bed mattress was sunken in to the point where it was hard to get out of the bed since it was sunken down t the frame. The a/c was either too hot or too cold. All of this was disappointing for an apartment that otherwise seemed nice. At the end of the stay I get a bill showing the full $754 charge with no credit! I texted the Sonder people through their app and they respond "Rest assured we are going to provide you updates as soon as possible" I texted again later after a few days and no response! I called the Sonder customer service number that Marriott had provided and they could not find my email from Dawid. Finally after I insisted they put me on hold and said that they had found it. The lady said that the late checkout requested was $46 (contrary to it being offered as $40 even. There was a pet fee of $9.98 which we did not have a pet! There were other miscellaneous fees. Somehow the bill miraculously added up to the original $754. The lady on the phone from Sonder customer service assured me "I promise I will call back later today and get this resolved. If not today absolutely tomorrow to bring you up to date" No call ever came! I would avoid this place entirely! They cannot be trusted with your business, they will lie, cheat and steal for a few dollars...it is sad!!
