Casa Zaba

Casa Zaba tiene una ubicacion excelente y todo el personal es supremamente amable. Tuvimos mala suerte de coincidir con una temporada de sargazo pero es un lugar perfecto para pasar vacaciones y tener acceso directo a la playa.

Habian otros huespedes que fueron un poco groseros pensando que no nos estabamos quedando en el lugar. Estaria bien informarle a otros huespedes que es posible encontrarse con otras personas dentro de la propiedad para evitar malentendidos.

Beautiful area on the beach. Private with very little beach traffic. House is in great shape and did not feel cramped with 6 people. All around great place to stay!

It's a little bit of a walk to get to eating places on the road, but there are nearby beach clubs to eat at from the beach.

Very private house with beautiful view and beach access. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The house managers were easy to communicate and resolved our issues quickly. They also helped us arrange transportation and excursions. We were very comfortable here, traveling in a large group with several children.

The house has good quiet and privacy but is a bit of a walk to the restaurants and shops of Tulum (10-15 minutes), and taxis are expensive. But, we really enjoyed the beach walk up to the shops and restaurants and other hotels. We had some issues with hot water but they were resolved quickly.

We stayed in a smaller house (2 couples) over a long weekend, and our experience was great! Big thanks to Myriam and Juan Carlos for help and very good communication throughout our stay. The house is perfect for 2 couples, with each bedroom having a private entrance - 2nd bedroom is on the upper floor with an entrance from the outside. Incredible private beach, and even a cenote. Very clean, comfortable beds, jungle around. I would say that in reality the rooms look even better than in the pictures! 15min ride from party zone - so perfect if you’re looking for a quiet area. Even with a beach club next door, there was zero noise. 10-15 min walk there are some restaurants when you don’t want to ride to the main area of the hotel/party zone. We would definitely choose Casa Zaba next time we go to Tulum!

We had an amazing stay at Casa Zaba. The house is amazing - you feel like you're in the middle of the jungle, and just steps away you have an amazing beach with private sun chairs. A little walk to the main part of town, but not far. We would definitely stay here again!

Nothing! All was perfect

Casa Zaba was amazing! We will definitely return for the seclusion & beautiful home. We took referrals from the management for a private Chef (Pablo) and massages in home (Clara). We enjoyed each meal curated and presented on the porch table; fresh & amazing! You could hear the waves while getting the best massage you’ve ever had. Both referrals were absolutely outstanding. The management host was extremely communicative & responsive. The daily staff who live on the property were so sweet and kind & did an excellent job with housekeeping. You are WAY down beach road if you’ve ever been to this part of Tulum. That’s great as there’s a lot less noise (minus some bass at night from a nearby club, but only the top floor bed can hear it & the loud ocean waves do a good job of drowning it out). You’ll want to get grocery service or hit the store on the way if you go in high season. You will NOT want to drive up and down the road unless it’s early morning & you’re not an anxious driver (if you are - get a ride!). I prefer driving in Mexico & the autonomy to go on private excursions; the seclusion was worth the drive! Walkable eats: Loco - amazing food with pleasant staff. La Onda had the best prices and “world’s best pizza” & Fruitti de Mare with homemade fettuccine with flour flown in from Italy; O.M.G. Amazing! Take time to chat with the owner Mateo! Our stay was perfect, Myriam was an incredible host. The beach looked like paradise, a spot not to be missed!

There are two separate houses, one in the front, one in the back. The houses are very nice, even though they do look nicer in the photos. Property is spacious and beautiful. Pet friendly and they were very welcoming towards our dog.

- curtains were more than annoying and too small for the windows - the people who were in the other house were extremely rude, but I guess that is not the properties fault. Not sure if they knew someone else was staying there.

Wonderful stay, I wish we could have stayed longer! The location is amazing, right on the beach which is beautiful, quiet but possible to walk to many restaurants. Myriam and Juan were great hosts, we felt welcome and taken care of. We hope to come back soon.
