Los dueños son muy indiscretos, sentí que vigilaban mucho. También dentro de la cabaña habían arañas y alacranes, lo que me causó conflicto. Para la salida la señora fue a las 10:30 am a recordarme que antes de las 12 debía salir, cuando en la pagina de aquí dice que la salida es de 12 a 12:30, aunado a que se entiende que uno conoce las horas de salida, no tenía que ir a recordármelo. también no me gustó que por noche cobran 300 pesos por mascota, siento que es un abuso, incluso en hoteles de más estrellas no hacen cobros de ese tipo, debería señalarlo desde la pagina ya que no se puede cancelar la reserva.

Maria are Arturo were the kindest hosts! The studio was spatious and cute. The rooftop terrace has a comfy hammock that is so wonderful at sunrise & sunset. The hosts go above and beyond to meet your needs as much as possible, you will feel taken care of. An accessibility note for others: the bed is lofted and is accessible by a ladder

I forgot to bring ear plugs, oops. I slept much better with my noise cancelling headphones on. Bring something if you're sensitive to night noise.

I came as a tourist from Denmark. In the beginning I stayed downtown in Mexico City - fascinating. But got tired of the noise and seeked after an absolutely quiet place, close to nature. La Troje was the perfect solution for me in every way: 1. Silence! 2. An absolutely amazing host couple (has become my new friends!). 3. Fantastic nature surroundings - direct view to the mountains and direct trails from the place to those. 4. Interesting, authentic shops and cafés nearby. 5. Fairly close to the beautiful Tepoztlan village. From here also busses directly to Mexico City.
