"Dirty and badly maintained"

2.0

The property is situated in one of Cullercoats' less pretty streets. While it benefits from proximity to certain amenities, it sits among properties which are especially well maintained.

Our stay was unfortunately disappointing. The property did not match its advertised description, leaving us feeling misled. The main issues were: Cleanliness: The kitchenware was dirty, and areas like the passageway were filthy. Maintenance: The shower rail was broken, and a window wouldn’t close. Equipment: It was under-equipped (e.g., one dish towel, no bread knife, a tiny coffee press). A holiday should not involve washing the previous guests' dishes. We spent time cleaning and adapting, which significantly impacted our stay. The host later apologized and refunded the cleaning fee, but the overall experience did not provide good value.

"lovely to go to the beach every day"

7.0

Being by the sea. The flat felt generally comfortable and easy to be in. Being upstairs and all on one level worked well for us. There seemed to be enough space for our family. It felt safe for our 4 year old.

The shower: shower curtain was too close, the shower head wouldn't stay in a workable position, using the shower head to fill the bath was problematic and we couldn't find how to do it another way. Lighting in the lounge too bright. Because my bedroom door opened outwards, right by the loo, I wanted it shut at night, but it wouldn't stay shut without being wedged, which was quite a nuisance. Lighting over the kitchen worktop too dim, no directional cooking light. Could do with a blind at the kitchen window for hot weather. (no sea view or garden, but we already knew that when we booked it)

"Fantastic weekend break"

10.0

The property was very comfy - home from home. Everything had been thought of - plenty of coat hooks even hooks on every door, sufficient places to hang wet towels and a well equipped kitchen.

When putting out the rubbish in the bin at the back of the property, be careful because the steps are very slippery when wet.

"Very Good"

7.0

The location was great and the bedrooms were comfortable.

The TV would not connect after many times of trying so we could not watch Netflix/You Tube etc at all during our stay which caused a little frustration. The Host did try and help with this. The bathroom light flickered a few times before coming on but this was a minor inconvenience which I did report to Host just before leaving

Location.

It was very dirty -stained carpets, no mattress protectors, dangerous back exit to bons which was lethal and filthy. We messaged with a list of your complaints at the end of our stay and the host hasn't even bothered to reply. It is below.par accomodation. .
