Issue with august app

Easy street parking and comfy twin bed.

somewhat noisy outside. peculiar step down to step up to shared bathroom . took me a while to figure out exit and entry on the app to open/close doors. Lamp by bed didn’t have a lightbulb or outlet to charge phone.

There was nothing positive about this experience.

This apartment is located in a neighborhood that looks unsafe. As a woman coming here with my son I did not feel comfortable and decided I would prefer to take the long trip back home then stay here. When I reached out to the renter to discuss my concerns, I could tell a child was put on the phone and he hung up on me. After that I was ignored for the rest of the evening. That experience has made me hesitant to rent from this website because of the lack of transparency regarding the area around the apartment.

No issues or surprises during our stay, everything was as described in the listing. Easy access with mobile app to get into the house and keypad to get into the room. Basic and comfortable room very close to shared bath and kitchenette with a small table and loveseat. This is the only living space we had access to outside the bedroom, it's small but cozy, fine for low-maintenance light travelers like us. There were no other guests and the owner was away (they were reachable by text message and responsive) so we had a quiet stay with no in-person interaction. Positive experience all-around.
