Casa do Desassossego

It's a lovely place and spacious with a beautiful view. Marta was very kind. It was just us and our friends so we had the house to ourselves. I could see having a large group there in better weather. Would be fun!

The location is a bit remote, but close enough to Moncao and many vineyards. Google maps did not take us to the correct house but Marta met us and guided us to the right spot. Wifi was problematic.

Selfservice breakfast was very good; free usage of the kitchen and the meal area a plus; beautiful location although a bit remote. An extra bed for the kid without even asking for it was a nice gesture. The guesthouse itself was amazingly refurbished recently. And the host is great!

We've stayed at Casa do Desassossego in early July and loved it. Thus, we decided to return, this time with some family. The facilities are exceptional, and Marta, who is the carer of the house, is absolutely fantastic. The breakfast is simple but precious if you want to enjoy yourself. The views are beautiful and there's a pool.

We liked all the facilities, the pool, the garden, the space outside for barbecue. The kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms were amazing! Although, the house is located in a small village it had everything that we needed for a nice weekend. The person who received us was very kind and extremely helpful! The breakfast was also really nice :)

The welcome was perfect and the room was very clean. The pool is lovely too! There is a shared kitchen where you can prepare simple meals.

Breakfast could have been done with more local products but considering the price it was good enough.

I liked the pool , the facilities and the lovely town. Beautiful landscape!

The key would sometimes get jammed.

The extra bed was very flimsy.
