Great experience! Good host and nice facilities

Online check-in process worked well enough. The location itself was generally quiet, particularly noting Carnival was just down the hill. The location was good, 10-15 minutes walk to buses, ferry, shops, beaches and Carnival. My room was spacious enough and had plenty of hanging space and a table and chair. While next to the shared bathroom and kitchen, the room was generally not noisy. The place was tidy and clean. Fortuantely guests kept the shared bathroom clean. The shared kitchen was well organised. The bed was fine as were the shower and wifi. The online support was prompt and helpful - they had the blocked shower drain fixed the day after it was reported. Fresh towels were provided after 2-3 days without asking. There's a terrace on the roof. I'd consider staying again.

The noise level depended on the other guests and neighbours. One night I could hear the neighbours for some time. Generally other guests were considerate and quiet but not always. The locks, doors and plaques with the room names make a bit of unhelpful and unnecessay noise. There were only two powerpoints in my room and that near the bed did not seem to work properly. The host said they'd look at it.

I liked the quick communication with the staff and the large, separate kitchen.

There was a strange smell in the room, and the fixtures are quite old. When someone takes a shower on the second floor or uses the toilet, the sound of the water is very loud, as if the water might pour down on your head.
