Wonderful homecooked French breakfast!

It was clean, and updated. Comfortable. And a delicious breakfast with opportunities to interact with other guests and the owners.

Breakfast was outstanding. Vincent provided among many other items delicious homemade baked goods, fresh fruit salad and freshly squeezed orange juice every morning. The location was central to so many destinations to visit and a 5 minute walk to the beach. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. Vincent, Raquel and their dog Sam were super friendly and made us feel at home. Could not have asked for a better place to spend our vacation.

Vincent is very organised so their B&B is clean and tidy. Breakfasts were consistently good with his own cake baking, pancakes and crepes. Sam, his Alsatian, is easy with children too. We stayed 9 nights at the end of April and throughly enjoyed our visit back to Foz after 25 years. Vincent is French so we spoke in French as the main language to brush up our rusty skills! Our room was at the front and overlooked the road and the inland part of the lagoon towards Obidos. Casa Lagoa is easy to find and well labelled outside with parking directly opposite off the road. The room interiors are modern, well looked after and include air conditioning. Access after 10.30 am is through an external staircase at the back of the house up to the bedrooms. We had a lazy morning around the pool and although not heated does benefit from direct sun most of the day.

Nothing we can think off. We ate out in locals cafes and restaurants in the evening so the lack of access to tea/coffee making or cooking capabilities was not a problem for us - Cafe com leite or a Cappuchino is currently around €1.50 so half the price of UK anyway.

I read the reviews before booking and had high expectations for Casa Lagoa. Our stay exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless and the whole property was well maintained. The best part, however, was the kindness and hospitality of the host, Vincent. He treated us like family and provided a delicious breakfast as well as pleasant conversation. We're really glad we stayed here and would highly recommend Casa Lagoa.
