Phaedrus Living: Cozy Down Town House Aischylou

Great house and really huge for two bedrooms. Slightly limited bathroom facilities but are really authentic Cypriot house in the old town.

Location was under construction and there are a few items to tidy up in the house but I hope the management company have that all sorted by the time the next guests get there. I was travelling on my own so pretty tolerant but it would have been possibly unpleasant if I'd brought family or a partner with me. We'll definitely go back.

- Right in the city centre - Spacious

- Door leading from rooftop area to living space not lockable. As the rooftop is easily accessible from outside this leads to potential security issues. We had to take our valuables with us all the time. This issue was promised to be addressed by the owners upon contacting them, however we found previous ratings which pointed this out in the past and nothing has been done so far. - Many rooms in the appartment are not used, some of them not locked and full of rubbish and old furniture. Rest of the living area is well kept. However, in my opinion you should provide an appartment in an overall good/clean state before renting it to guests.

Beautifully renovated and equipped accommodation. The whole house was so spacious and much bigger in real life. Everything was clean. Beds were very comfy and there's AC in every room. Getting into the apartment was very easy and fast.

Good location, spacious, rustic and modern at same time, cool vibe, great owner.

Bath plug not quite fitting, but this is minor issue.

The location was central, and the house was huge. Bedrooms with ensuite were comfortable and had lovely bedding, and the sun shone in on a morning. The upstairs sitting room is fabulous for an evening of chatting. Great value for money and great for catching up with friends and family.

The house (an old two-story house) was huge and it was very useful for the multiple same-time meetings we had in Nicosia. There were two living rooms, two master bedrooms (ensuite bathroom), and one WC a kitchen, and plenty of space. The location was very good.

There was a smell that was coming from the drains all the time. The address was not exact, so we had some difficulty finding the place. The A/C remotes were not working properly. We finally used one for all - A/Cs were very good though.

Apartment was old and not clean. Communication was very bad. I had to call 3 times - first address was not the same like it is written in Booking confirmation. I had to ask how to switch hot water - there was a separate switch for that. Booking pictures was not realistic - they did make sure to do a proper clean before taking pictures. In reality is totally different.

Good location and spacious

Upon our arrival the apartment smell like it hasn't been opened for weeks. High humidity, we had to leave the windows open for a couple of hours to get rid of the smell & humidity. No one informed us how get hot water, we had to contact our host. There were leftover rusty pipes on the balcony. On one of the WC's, walls were peeling because of humidity and the tiles looked really dirty. Parts of the house looked like it was abandonded.
