DEGood location near Fort St. Elmo, historic building, inside fully modern. Reasonably comfortable. Perfect to explore Valletta. Silent street a great plus.
Safe box did not work, repairs were promised from one day to the next but not done all week. In March still very cold, small electric heater.

Room was very dark. So little natural light, which didn't reflect the pictures in Booking.com. Room looked shabby and things not working- no towel rail in bathroom (it had broken off and not replaced), Aircon was a freestanding unit, as the original one had broken. Bathroom had a foul smell at times. VERY minimal equipment. No basics like salt and pepper or sugar. No teas or coffees. We stayed for 9 nights and our bedding or towels weren't changed. What were we supposed to do, go out and launder them ourselves??! This is a big company with a lot of properties, and they need to up their game looking after guests and not put profits first! Extremely disappointed.

HUGBBeautiful converted space, very clean and modern. Comfortable bed, great convenient location.
Ground floor so a bit noisy. No checking in from staff to see if we got in ok or needed anything during our stay. No basics included such as shower gel or a bottle of water; only one small bar of soap and one shower cap.
