Anlaby Station

The breakfast ingredients were 1st rate, everything we could possibly have wished for was supplied. The dining room was a perfect venue for the 4 of us to enjoy breakfast.

We could not possibly fault one thing. Every convenience was in place. There was not one thing about which we were unhappy. The accommodation was superb, well planned, spotlessly clean, thoughtfully provided.

The breakfast provisions were most generous and suited our usual light breakfast routine. The kitchen was warm and totally well equipped. We really enjoyed the dinner on the Friday night, appealing and scrumptious! The bed was so comfortable and warm, in fact the whole house was beautifully warm, and super quiet. We were delighted to meet hosts Andrew and Peter, and look forward to a return visit to Anlaby.

We could not think of one thing that could be improved upon, so much thought and action had gone into makng our stay the best possible. (We missed the English breakfast tea bags (oversight))!

Very interesting historical property. It was very hot when we stayed so only saw a small part of the amazing gardens, definitely worth another visit or a longer stay. We enjoyed our overnight stay thoroughly and will definitely come back!
