Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of EUR 200 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Check in after 21.00 pm occurs at an extra charge of 35 euros.

"Superb"

The apartement is very bright and well equipped! I really felt like beeing at home.

I had to buy all my detergents for cleaning by myself. I am sure, if there were some provided peopöe would also use them and maintain the apartment during the stay. I saß also dissapointed by the misleading informations in the booklet, wich say that there will be a linen change and cleaning ons a week. When I asked for that I justvgit the answer that this informations were valid before/during Covid-are you serious still providing booklets with that information especially that apartement started service after Covid...

"Bed experience with BUENAVISTA management company in Malta. Never again."

Reasonable equipped studio, except the broken bed !

The BED in a sleeping room first night at 0:30 was BROKEN and during our first night sleep we fell down on the floor. The telephone number for urgency situations was written at the entry door. Since we could not sleep all knight at the floor because of the broken bed we called the emergency number twenty times but nobody responded. Then I sent a mail to BUENAVISTA management company but only at 4:00 in the morning I received the answer that they do not have people for emergency situations ??? Can you imagine this false behavior of the company which has blocked 200 Euros from my Credit Card for their safety in case of my inadequate use of the studio but did not do anything on their side to protect me against the problems caused by their non-professional behavior !!! Another false promises to the clients while buying the arrangement, proposed electronic communication not working, and unacceptable ignorance when help needed. Tomorrow around noon time BUENAVISTA sent a worker with a WRONG REPLACEMENT PART for the broken bed. Then after numerous calls they sent a worker who brought adequate part for the bed and finally repair it in the late afternoon. So, what a start of the first day in Malta with mostly advertised and "famous" BUENAVISTA management company. I would like to get a REFUND of the 30% for the lost night, enormous stress contacting BUENAVISTA company, useless and numerous contacts with young and incompetent telephone secretaries not bale to answer anything on my requests for solution of the emergency case !!! Please, advise how can I get refund and how can I control that BUENAVISTA unblocked additional reserve amount of 200 Euros on my Credit Card ???

"Lovely spacious and light with character."

I loved the light, layout and spaciousness of this flat. It had everything that we needed. The water was hot (unlike a lot of reviews I saw for other Maltese properties). It is across the street from a popular Irish bar which makes it easy to locate should you find yourself in need of directions. Bus stops are close by. There are several corner shops nearby and a lovely café just down the road. The management company is very professional, helpful and communicative. The first night several slats fell out of my husband’s side of the bed. Within a few hours, at least half that side fell with an almighty clang. We tried to put it together in the dark and by am managed to sort it out. The next night a couple fell again. Once fixed again, it only happened the morning of our final day. I told the management company after the first day and believe that had we not been able to fix it, they would have sent a maintenance crew in right away. We were happy they didn’t. However, they do need to get a permanent fix. Most would not be so tolerant. If not for this, I would give the place a 10.

"Overall good stay"

Great sized apartment with great facilities including two bathrooms, location is great. Staff are helpful too

Some washing machine products would be good and blind in bedroom had gaps allowing light in first thing in the morning

Excellent facilities and location betwween Valletta & Sliema & St.Julians. Plenty of nearby amenities.

"Immaculate apartment away from the main tourist areas."

Immaculate modern apartment, very spacious with good facilities and very efficient air conditioning. Plenty of small convenience stores nearby if you want to self-cater. This is undoubtly a fantastic, almost a showroom, apartment that represents value for money for short-term stays but is particularly well-suited for anyone looking for a long-term rental. We arranged to leave our luggage with the managing agents in Sliema after checkout which was very useful as we had a late flight out of Malta.

If we returned to Malta we probably wouldn't stay in this area again as it is not really geared towards tourists. It is too far to walk to the tourist hotspots of central Valetta or Sliema and the buses get packed out at certain times of the day. The apartment is spotless and the owners quite rightly want to keep it that way. However, the check-in inventory, the numerous rules and threats of fines do seem a bit heavy-handed and detract somewhat from the feeling of being on holiday. That said, this is a great apartment with only a couple of minor issues. There is some noise in the evenings from the Hatter Irish Pub immediately opposite although it closes at a reasonable hour and there is a steep set of external steps leading up to the front entrance of the apartment block which may be an issue if you are carrying heavy luggage. We also had some communication issues regarding check-in so I would suggest you check and double-check any arrangements.

"Exceptional"

The apartment is the same as in the pictures. It was clean and tidy, more than enough for the two of us. The bedroom is large and has a large wardrobe with access to the balcony. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and utensils. Near the apartment there is a market open 0-24. There is also a coffe shop across the street. The location of the apartment is great, we could visit several cities on foot. All praise to our host Pierre who met us at the airport and showed us the apartment and explained everything we were interested in. We saw that there was no iron in the apartment and Pierre immediately brought it to us. We used the opportunity to leave our bags with Pierre on the last day and then he pick us up in Valletta and take us to the airport. We are very satisfied with the accommodation and definitely recommend it! 😊
