Portoazul Casa de Playa

The host, Jairo, was very friendly and hospitable. Despite the language barrier (we don't speak Spanish), he made sure to spend time visiting with us (using Google translate) and making us feel welcome. His place is very cute and well cared for. He gave us wristbands that allowed us to access the beach through the Hotel Pradomar, where we ate an excellent dinner.

Like a own little paradise :)

Nothing bad to tell

Small and very friendly B&B near to the beach & places to eat, with nice pool. We stayed while attending Barranquilla carnival, which was 30min taxi ride away, and the staff were very helpful in advising us - and one of the family even gave us his unused ticket for the best seats in the house!

This is a sweet, family run hotel that feels like a home from home. A few blocks from the beach. A welcome respite. Excellent food - just order ahead on Whatsapp. Good brochure documentation provided on Whatsapp before arrival with lots of information, menus etc. Really appreciated the help and care from the owners. I felt very looked after when traveling with my kids. Highly recommended.

Minor detail - the overhead lighting was very bright in the room. A bed side lamp would be nice.

This place is build like a little oasis in the town. They have put a lot of effort into their great little green garden and relaxing spots, making it feel at home. The friendly staff spoke english, which helped us a lot. Would recommend to anyone passing this town.
