Seehotel Helvetia

I actually didn’t stay as when I arrived I realized that the hotel was right under the crossroads of the highway. noisy and way different from what I expected. I booked as I saw nice pictures and I needed a relaxing place to stay. I was badly surprised of what I found instead. It should be offered with a lower price to justify the location and the noise around it

Visited during a cycling trip across Switzerland so it suited our route. Close to the lake and lots of parking available

LED lights above the bed that we could not turn off, happened to a few of my friends also in different rooms. Make sure and state at check in that you want them turned off for sleeping.

no airco, so with open windows it get a bit noisy due to roads in front and back.

It was an excellent stay for one night in transit. Rooms are brand newly refurbished and good size. Beds very comfortable. Convenient parking. There is no air conditioning in the rooms, but even in the summer hot it was not necessary because during day the cool air from the air conditioned corridor was circulating and the evening was cold enogh. The windows are very good sound proofing. Excellent price-value ratio.

Our room looked at the quiterer side from road perspective, but it was close to the reception and in the morning it was a little bit noisy.
