Great place to stay in Luang Prabang. Main positives - + The comfiest beds we’ve had during our travels in SE Asia + Great breakfast served with a view of the river + Lovely hosts who can book tours and transport for you + cheap laundry service + great location within 5 min walk of the night market

The location is amazing! Right next to the river, the morning and night market, and right in the center of Luang Prabang. Owners/workers are very helpful and speak great English!

The room I was given had no natural daylight, there was constant noise from the courtyard, staff on their phones, washing machines, dishes being washed, even aside from the non-stop noise of Lao new year celebrations outside on the riverfront. The breakfast choices for vegetarians were very limited.

The staff at Chidlatda (Dear Villa) were absolutely amazing. The man on reception was insanely helpful and helped print off a copy of our passports and got us mopeds to hire. We checked in easily and the room was very comfortable with the air con! The shower was hot all the time and the bed was comfy!! We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone!

Small thing - more of a recommendation, there is no bedside light with would have been nice to read next to before bed! But not really any issue! Also something in the bathroom (maybe the sink) was a bit leaky. Still not really an issue at all. Would stay again despite this.
