The Brick Hotel

Property I fresh, hip, and crisp. Easy automated check in, and good communication via text and phone. Room is very cool and I loved the bathroom design.

Not property’s fault, but if you are staying on a Thursday, the night market goes until 9pm with cleanup After for An hour and there are bands and lots of people. Our room overlooked the street fair so it Was really noisy. But for someone that wants to be in “the middle Of it” would like it.

it was nice but the area isn’t so. not the property’s fault though. I’m not sure i would stay again it was pretty pricey and the room was small plus it was a little noisy due to the restaurant on the bottom and bar on the rooftop during the day. the bar and restaurant closed at a decent time so that didn’t bug us at night while sleeping. it was overall okay. i found stains on the sheets and the room did smell weird when we first checked in. i did message the customer service number and someone did come change the sheets right away. also they do include a complementary drink ticket to the bar and coffee shop that have. It was nice but it’s nothing to rave about. I wish i got the room with the balcony since it probably make the room seem bigger. it did the job but for 300 for one night it was okay

We loved the service and the room was really nice. It was such a great central location. I loved the restaurant, coffee shop and bar all connected to the hotel.

It was a little weird not knowing where the entrance to the hotel was because all we could see was the restaurant. A bigger sign would be helpful at the door of the restaurant to point to the stairs/elevator to the hotel rooms. The parking was also less than ideal.

The location was great close to the beach and restaurants. The staff was great she responded quickly to all my texts.

The room were so tiny and no storage for clothes or suitcases. The pillows were old and flat (needed to renew). Didn’t like the fact that they didn’t provide any beach towels when it was so close to the beach

The location is really good in the center of downtown Oceanside. From the balcony rooms, you can see the ocean peeking through all of the buildings

It was so lacking in any kind of extras such as a coffee maker, lotion, USB ports, and things like that. They do give a voucher to get a coffee at a little coffee stand behind the hotel but they don’t open till 7:30 in the morning and you have to get dressed and go down there and then bring it back to your room. Why not put a coffee maker in the room? All you really get is a bed, a sink and a toilet. There is no one at the front desk because there is no front desk.

I enjoyed the facility, but was a little noisy on the rooftop, and my neighbor was very noisy in the hallway after midnight .

The rooftop would play music late.

The room worked fine for our one night stop in Oceanside. It was good to see the nice restoration done on this building.
