Zarafshon Parkside Hotel

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a group tour of Uzbekistan. I have to say, it was a great place to stay and in my opinion and that of our tour guide the best of the hotels we stayed in. Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. The room was spacious very clean and comfortable with a nice soft mattress. Although located at the front of the hotel, two rooms from reception there was no street noise apparent (and I'm a light sleeper) . Breakfast had a wide choice and the staff on hand were very accommodating, The hotel was well located I a nice area near a park and looks like embassy from outside with lovely well maintained gardens at the rear. I would certainly recommend this as a place it stay in Samarkand.

The hotel is rated 5 stars but it definitely isn’t. The rooms are very small n we were given a road facing room which was sooo noisy that we couldn’t really sleep well. We requested a change of room which was denied saying none available. I doubt that. Added to this the last night the ac was not working. When we complained about the same a person came at 10:30 p.m. n told it was t working n will check n revert. After waiting for 2 hours we called back only to be told that there’s a problem so acs wont work. When we requested a fan, they didn’t have any n were told to open the window if needed any air. With no option, we did that n actually felt like we were sleeping on a footpath coz it was soooo noisy throughout the night. It was a terrible experience. Liked everything about this hotel. Clean, luxurious, great breakfast, everything worked, helpful staff. Really excellent.

There is nothing particularly wrong with this hotel, but conversely, nothing that really sets it apart as special. My opinions can be summarized as follows: Pros: Very clean and everything works. In an upscale and attractive area. Staff courteous and reasonably accomodating. Cons: Sterile feel to the decor; very white and somewhat stark/cold. Location relatively incovenient to most tourist attractions. Breakfast buffet not great - highlights were the nuts and honeycomb honey/low points were everything else. Bizarrely, the comforter on the king bed consisted of 2 twin comforters side by side which meant that the comforter kept falling off during the night. Also, the light from the thermostat display was BRIGHT, lighting up the room, even after covering it with some cardboard coasters, and kept me up at night.

A lovely hotel less than 30 minutes walk to Registan Square & very close to ‘restaurant street’. Our room was large with a modern bathroom with Gilgrist & Soams toiletries. It overlooked the inner courtyard that has lovely flower beds & water features. Breakfast was very impressive with lots of fruit & pastries as well as hot selections, cheese & meat. Freshly ground coffee was excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant is lacking atmosphere in the evening, when we went to eat the staff seemed surprised & in the end we went outside. Otherwise the staff are great. Nice touch of cold drink & cake on return early evening. The pool is a good feature, even if unheated. The downside is that as mentioned before there is no alcohol on sale (but there is a mini market across the street that sells cold beer), and at weekends the noise/ music from the Oasis Garden Restaurant next door is very loud. Overall a great place to stay.

Wonderful hotel in the middle of a park, 15 minutes walk to Gur Emir and 20 minutes to Registan (walking distance), very clean and friendly, professional staff. Viktoria is extremely efficient and helpful, knows everything and is very hospitable. Breakfast is rich, Rooms are spacious and cleans. Very recommendable.

The hotel looks quite new and both service and the accommodation itself are spotless. We stayed here for 3 nights and we did enjoy our stay. The room is large, comfortable with a beautiful bathroom and perfectly clean. The overall service was excellent and the front staff was always attentive and efficient. The location is also nice and some of the most interesting tourist spots can easily be reached on foot

2024年8月15日から1泊で利用しました。 公園の中にあるような、緑の多い歩きやすい表通り沿いにあります。静かな環境で、レジスタン広場まで歩けなくはない距離です。 朝一の列車で到着したため、チェックイン前に荷物を預かって頂きました。 チェックイン時には、ポーターが荷物を部屋まで運び入れてくれました。またウェルカムフルーツとしてスイカが置かれており、家族３人に、２皿４人分用意してくださいました。 ミネラルウォーターは瓶で用意してあり、高級感を感じます。 部屋は広く、子供用のベッドが大人用のベッドの足元に横向きにつけてあり、子供（６歳）は大喜びでした。 電源は少なく、ベッドの片方と、デスクのところにあるくらいで、やや不便ですが、気になるレベルではありません。 お風呂、トイレは清潔で、バスタブもあります。 タオルは硬めで、これはウズベキスタンの旅通じてスタンダードの様でした。 ただ洗面台の流しの部分が不調で、栓を手で持ち上げないと水が流れない感じでした。 プールは屋外にあります。 ３つに分かれていて、30cmくらいの浅いところ、70cmくらいの、６歳の娘には丁度良いところと、最深190cmの大人向けのところです。バランスボールが１個あり、それで娘は遊んでいました。 プールサイドには着替えができるシャワールームがいくつかと、パラソル付きのリクライニングチェアが複数あります。また入り口には、飲み物を売るブースもあり、そこには常時スタッフがいてくれます。 リクライニングチェアには、ブルーのタオルが置いてあり、部屋からタオルを持ってこなくても困りません。 部屋には広いバルコニーがあり（ある部屋とない部屋がある様です）、そこにはテーブルと藤の椅子４脚ありました。スイカを家族３人で食べ、ゆっくりとした時間を過ごせました。 通りの向かいには、OLD CITYというレストランがあり、夏場は予約困難とのこと。ただ18時台は予約なしでも入れる様です。羊のフォイル焼きが絶品！ここで娘のサンダルを忘れたのですが、その後、ホテルのフロントに届けてくださり、助かりました。 ホテルを出て左側にATMがあり、スムがVISAでキャッシングできました。 朝ごはんも豪勢で、フルーツの種類も多く、この日はチキンカレーもあり、美味しく頂きました。7時からとのことでしたが、その時間は私たちしか居ませんでした。皆さんのんびりしている様です。ちなみに宿泊客は圧倒的に欧米人の様です。 パスポートをスキャンする機械の不調とのこと、22時ごろにフロントから電話が鳴った時は、かなり驚きました。 スタッフは真面目で素朴な印象です。 一流ホテルのホテルマンのように洗練はされていませんが、一生懸命さが伝わってきて好感を持てます。 家族でゆっくり贅沢に過ごすには、とてもいいホテルです。

We had very pleasant stay in this hotel. Great outside pool, great breakfast providing with good choice of meal and drink options (including salmon caviar and espresso coffee)
