Starlight Retreat Yellowstone

Very good tent/teepee, both inside and outside. Very warm and kind staff welcoming in.

Rough infrastructures, dirt roads with not even gravel. Shared toilets and showers were trailers, clean but really basic camping facilities.

Bed in teepee were comfortable--plenty of warm bedding for all of us. Charging box in teepee.

Bathroom house was less than useable-couldnt get toilets flushed and barely enough water in sink to wash hands or brush teeth. Road into area was poorly maintained. Wished to have a teepee that zipped closed for a bit more security and warmth for my children.

We booked 3 nights. We left after 1. That should tell you everything. This place is a disaster if you're looking for a relaxing family getaway. It’s not worth your money, your time, or your sanity. Here’s why: * Misleading Photos: What you see online is not what you get. The tent looked clean and cozy in the pictures — in reality, it was worn down and far from spotless. * Filthy Bathrooms: Only one working toilet in the morning, and the floor was disgusting. Not what you want to deal with on vacation. * Severely Underequipped: They don’t tell you this, but there are only a handful of bathrooms for the entire camp. Expect long waits and no hot water depending on the time as it may run out . * Freezing Cold at Night: The bed was warm, but the tent? Ice box. Gaps in the wooden floor and open tent edges let in freezing air all night. I’ve had better insulation in a $50 camping tent. * Bugs Galore: Because the tent isn’t sealed properly, we had spiders crawling in all night. We killed at least five — and found more. If you hate bugs, run. *Highway Noise All Night: The place is right next to a busy highway. So instead of peace and quiet, you’ll fall asleep to the sound of traffic. Not exactly a “retreat”. We tried to cancel the moment we arrived and saw the reality. No luck. We gave it a shot, but after one miserable night, we packed up and left. Bottom line: This place is all style, no substance. If you value comfort, cleanliness, and piece of mind — look elsewhere.

Nicest bed I slept in for this vacation! It felt great to wake up out in the wilderness and go to Yellowstone.
