Modern and Homely Apartment in Marsaskala

Tágas, felszerelt apartman. A szállásadóval a kommunikáció kiválló, bármi probléma adodótt gyorsan segített. Közel a központ, buszmegálló,bolt.

A környék sajnos, koszos, büdös,szemetes. Több csótánnyal is találkoztunk. Erről viszont nem a szállásadó tehet.

Firstly - host, Francesca is very helpful and kind person. For our questions she answered after few minutes. When we had problem with dishwasher supported us immediately. Secondly - apartment, very comfortable and useful 110m2. 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, kitchen with living room and small balcony. All need devices are on place. In a word if we will back to Malta I'm sure that will be this apartment.

Wi-Fi could be better

The location was better than expected, the apartment is close to the bus station, there are several supermarkets in the area and there are several restaurants near. The apartment was clean, confortable, it was bigger than we expected and it had all the commodities that we needed. The check in was easy, Francesca sent us the information on how to check in earlier that day and it was great because we arrived late. Francesca was very nice and was available to help us.

There was nothing negative, the neighbours made some noise but that isn't something that the host can control and it was not something that was very significant.

Location was good - if you prefer to stay in a truly local neighbourhood with its charm. Convenience stores and good restaurants/pubs are closeby. Has all the facilities for self catering if you choose to cook in-house. Very clean and the owners have put some effort to make it cozy. Plenty of EU-type sockets available, that was a bliss! All in all a very good place if the owners would fix some shortcomings listed below.

Lighting in the rooms is not pleasant - most of the lights in the apartment are "cold white" meaning you feel kind of at a hospital. Very very VERY scarce lighting in the kitchen corner, you can barely see what you're preparing there. The only source of light (led string) in kitchen corner could not be switched on with the remote - the cable connectors were unplugged (!), took time to figure out how to switch it on. However, the most unpleasant thing - the fire alarm in the kitchen was missing from its original holder on the ceiling :((( Also please note that there is accute shortage of parking places if you come with rented car. We had the evening routine of zig-zagging through the local neighbourhood to find a free space for car, expect to spend some 20 mins including walk back to the apartment - but this is common thing in Malta I guess. Plus the apartment floors are tiles which makes them very cold (owners could have offered some slippers though).
