Equiturismo San Lorenzo - Villa KAMARA

We are from CA and traveled to Sicily to visit some of our family. This B&B was above expectation. It was like staying at a hotel only much more warm and friendly. We were greeted by the owners and their adult son. The son spoke English and communicated well. The guest house is on the top of a hill overlooking a beautiful valley. With over 54 acres, this property has breathtaking views from all directions and from multiple levels of the property. Each room was spacious, clean and had a modern sleek urban trendy vibe including the bathroom. My husband, who is a designer, appreciated all the extra modern features and look. Let's get right to the food- Amazing! Breakfast was homemade, with fresh pastries, food, coffee and more. She even baked special gluten-free food for my hubby who has celiac. The food not only tasted great but it was beautifully done like out of a magazine. Our family of seven, enjoyed the tour of the grounds given by the Dad (in Italian) but we were able translate from our knowledge Spanish and minimal amout of Italian. On a lower level of the property there is a beautiful area for large parties with even more spectacular views. We needed to get to a restaurant for dinner so the son arranged for an uber driver and dinner reservations at a local restaurant (where the food and hospitality were also amazing!) We fell in love with the family that owns this property-Dad, Mom & Son, we enjoyed the modern rooms, the food, the views and mostly the hospitality! -We wish we had more time to stay at this location. I would recommend staying for multiple nights so you have time to take in all the views from different parts of this property.

The hospitality we received was exceptional. Our host Walter recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner and wonderful local places to visit. Breakfast was the best of our stay in Sicily and so was the shower! Walter's mother's baking is delicious and I was treated to a surprise birthday cake!

We loved everything! I would give this place a 100 if I could. Really, everything is worth it. The farm is so beautiful it’s like a dream, so well maintained and with small details that make it beautiful. A couple of fun animals, an outdoor swing on a large tree, suspended relax chairs from tree branches, it’s just the perfect place to be. The rooms are of excellent quality, comfortable, practical and simple but with very good taste. The family is so sweet and received us so well, we felt very welcomed and also got to eat at one of the best restaurants we had in our Sicily trip. I really want to go back to this place! Please have no doubts in reserving this place!

Very friendly hosts, nice room in a very peaceful environment. The breakfast was very good with excellent cappucino. it gave us very relaxing days to close our holiday in beautiful Sicily. Thank you very much.

in the beginning we had trouble to find a reasonable-size road to the hotel, but that was rather a problem of our navigation system. make sure to avoid the center of Cammarata by car, it's really not built for cars (and we were lucky with a fiat panda, no chance with a bigger car).

Every little detail of the equiturismo is simply perfect! Being in the heart of Sicily took our breath away,visiting and driving in this amazing scenery is a must! The hosting family made us feel like part of their family,we are so grateful to get to know them a little ❤️ The homemade breakfast was so delicious. We are really thankful that we had this amazing experience in this perfect place.

Walter and his family were most helpful, from directions to reach their place to tips on where to eat and what to see. They were lovely with the kids and super attentive to any need we did or might have had.

It's hard to pinpoint what was best, because everything was perfect. Not only the place itself, but the reception, the furnishings, and Carmelina's magnificent breakfasts. Most importantly, it felt like home: a place where we could rest and be at peace, surrounded by love - every detail was attended to with care and attention. All the family was concerned for our well being, and looking to ensure that we had the best of the best. They always had a smile for us, and were proud to share with us their country, their culture, and their family. They went the extra mile, making sure that we we had a great experience by pointing out the best places to visit, whether for a gelato or a day trip, teaching us about local architecture and agriculture. We had heard that Cammarata was the heart of Sicily, but our stay here gave this a whole new meaning. We highly recommend Equiturismo San Lorenzo, and assure you that Carmelina, Giuseppe and Walter will make your trip one to remember.
