Sandton Smart Apartment Sixteen

The location was good.

The apartment didn’t have dishes, it had 1 glass for 3 people to use. No iron I had to purchase my own iron. They delivered an iron on the second day at 11am. No sponge to clean dishes. The apartment needs maintenance cupboards are broken Taps are loose This apartment needs attention

We ended up having to book a hotel as the owner of the apartment said our apartment was not ready even though we had sent an email stating we would arrive a day later, we were told to wait 4 hours before we could access an apartment that we paid for. we then left and booked a hotel. we are currently fighting with hotels.com for a refund of which they are refusing based on the booking purportedly being non-refundable. Hotels.com has been extremely unhelpful.

Just disappointed in the fact that there was really no sort of aircon or fan in the rooms which could get very hot at night but actually besides that the bathrooms where lovely and beds comfortable.

Big restaurant inside the building so parking get busy and things get a little noisy. Also somebody got through the floor by floor security and was drunkenly banging on my door in the middle of the night.

I was informed that there is a double booking and the alternative place they got for me was not up to standard. I was forced to find myself an alternative on the last minute.

I was told not to come I must cancel. I’m yet to receive my deposit.

It was an amazing stay Very clean, The only shortfall was its not air-conditioned,but thats about it. Booked again for nextvweek as well

Proximity to everything.

No creamer or liquid milk sachets. The bedroom glass door leading to the toilet wasn't working, seemed like it was stuck there for ages, furniture in the lounge needs to be spruced up. Electricity tripped thrice whilst I was watching TV. Attend to the exit gate intercom on the far left.

We waited for over 4 hours before we could get our keys, the sheets went clean, the room appartment wasnt really clean, we tried to contact the host but phone rang unanswered.

We booked this place and were casually told that they had another family in the unit and so they were overbooked. All this happened last minute. If you choose to book this property, be aware that you can get bumped last minute and find yourself looking for another hotel in a foreign country.
