Secret Walls

I like the location, close to the city centre but no crowdy and “touristly”. The house was very nice, seemed tiny but inside was enough place.

Some struggles with wifi connection. In some way it was good, I slept longer and better and work less ;)

The bed was very comfortable and the location was good. The landlords have left the complimentary bottles of water and candies. The bathroom and the toilet were inside the room (room 2). I would suggest people to request room 2 if they are booking.

The stairs were very narrow and the room was a bit dark. Low sound isolation (you can hear everything outside and people going through the stairs).

The location was good and it was clean.

There was a lot of noise. I slept downstairs, next to the front door and heard everyone come in. The door made an awfull sound everytime anyone came in. And there were also people who couldn't come in so one time someone knocked at my window and another time someone called. But since the walls are super thin I could hear everything. Also the cleaner in the morning. I slept really bad. The room and the bed were also super small. I could just fit in the bed and I am 1.65m.

We were supposed to have satellite tv in the room but it wasn’t connected. Breakfast was good but not worth 15£.

tight, winding stairs. easily manageable, but tricky until the motion detector kicks in.

Tasteful and well-maintained room. Very helpful staff member met by chance on arrival. Excellent cafe around the corner for breakfast.

Borders a less respectable part of town resulting in some unwanted attention.

The room was very modern, clean and there was a comfortable bed. The shower was great, very powerful, access to fridge and cutlery was good Wifi worked well at all times and the room was spacious. We had a powerful fan which helped with the heat in particular as we were on the top floor. I liked that you accessed the room and main door by a key code on the wall instead of having to faff with keys.

The stairs leading up to the property were very narrow and steep. I found them a little taxing at points due to the fact they spiralled around very sharply and I think this could be a struggle for some people. It wasn’t the end of the world but just something to be mindful of if you have limited mobility. Myself and my partner had small suitcases and we were on the top floor, we managed but if you had a big suitcase it would be a little difficult to get them up if you were staying higher up. I also personally would have liked the toilet inside the room but it was only across from us so it wasn’t a big issue.
