Alfonso is a very attentive host – the Casa del Cardenal isn’t just a place to stay, it’s a home away from home during your time in Córdoba. Alfonso got in touch beforehand and was then waiting for me in person at the entrance at the agreed time to open the door. After a welcome drink, he explained how everything worked at the hotel and was on hand to provide further information on restaurants, excursions and so on. The room was brilliant: clean, very quiet (you’re right in the centre yet hear almost nothing of the city noise), with water and coffee always topped up the next day; you couldn’t hear the air conditioning, but it ran very comfortably. Breakfast was served with a smile and was excellent. Next time I’m in Córdoba, I’ll definitely book with Alfonso and his team again. Thank you!

Die Lage, der Boutique Style mit nur 5 Zimmern, die supermoderne Einrichtung und vor allem das Rooftop mit Pool und Blick auf die Kathedrale. Alfonso, der mit authentischer Freundlichkeit und Fürsorge jederzeit zur Stelle war. Es war die beste Unterkunft auf unserem Roadtrip durch Andalusien.

Das Frühstück ist speziell es muss ausgewählt werden ohne zu wissen was man bekommt es ist okey nicht 15 Euro Wert.

The hotel is absolutely lovely. It has been restored to ensure modern comfort, but in keeping with a grand Andalusian villa. As soon as you walk through the doors you feel as if you are in an oasis. The terrace and pool have lovely views, every afternoon after walking all day, we would take a dip in the pool which was very refreshing. The honor bar is a lovely touch. The location is just perfect, you are steps from the Mosque, restaurants and shops. When we return to Córdoba, we will stay again. Alfonso and Janet are the true stars, very kind, engaging and obviously devoted to their jobs. We loved the hotel, so Janet took us and another couple who were staying there on a tour to see two other rooms. Everything is created and maintained with love. A true find!
