The staff were great and really helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated and there was a strong wifi connection.

Arriving by speedboat I was picked by up friendly Rakib, who had a luggage cart. He also did the check-in and gave me his phone number, in case nobody was at reception. Later I also met the equally friendly owner Muhamad. Location is good, at the more quiet eastern side. The room was fine with a comfortable bed. It had enough hangers (plastic), a safe and - very appreciated - a beach towel. Racks for drying clothes could be found in the small courtyard in front of the ground floor rooms. Daily two water bottles were provided. Breakfast was served at the table on the first floor. I always went for the good Maldivian breakfast with Roshi, Mas Huni and Omelet, plus a plate of fresh fruit.

For WiFi one had to reenter username and password, every time after one had left the room. Sometimes the signal was bad in the room, so I had to go to the lobby. Being on the ground floor the view from the room window was towards a close by wall. Some sockets were so high up on a bare wall, that they were useless. The room has no fridge or TV, but I did not miss them.

We really enjoyed our time at Island Ambience! The staff was very friendly and made sure everything was okay during our stay. Location is very nice, close to shops and just a few minutes to bikini beach!

Had the best stay in Maafushi. The staff was very attentive and took the best care of us and helped us to organize trips. We especially loved the breakfast. Cleaning service available every day as well as fresh water 24/7 upon request. The staff organized speedboat transfer from the airport which ended up being cheaper than official prices. Also got the best money exchange rate from them. Would stay again!

From the moment Raikib met us at the Island ferry and took our luggage to the minute we left, the team could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable. The team were always a whatsapp away for any of our questions and also helped with explaining how things worked locally and recomendations. We stayed for 7 nights. The aircon was a bonus, especially every day was 32 degrees.

This is a small boutique hotel, just 7 rooms, so bear in mind when breakfast is 7 to 9.30am then there will be limited breakfast options, no 24h reception, etc etc. So manage your expectation and you will be super pleased if you stay at Island Ambiance.

Thank you for a perfect stay. The hotel is small and modest, but everything was clean. Every day the guys asked us if we wanted clean towels (even for the beach) or clean up. Both guys were very nice and helpful. They pick you up at the marina upon arrival and go to see you off when you leave. Really perfect service. Thank you very much and maybe see you soon
