This place has problems. The bathroom sink had no water, the bathroom is the size of a closet (you can’t shut the door when you are in it without stepping in the tub), the room does not have a microwave, the tv has very few good channels, the internet connection is poor. On the plus side,the bed is good and the room was clean.
Pros: Room interior was nothing fancy but nicely updated. Comfy bed and a quiet night's sleep. Convenient to grocery store and coffee shop for breakfast. Cons: No elevator - if your room is on the 2nd floor you'll have to carry your luggage upstairs. Internet is spotty so the in-room Roku TV can't get a good stream going.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable. There appears to be upgrades being made. TV service was non existent. If you are looking for no frills this is it
Staff were helpful and friendly, room was clean and water pressure was awesome. Older facility , maintained well.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, there is restaurants in walking distance and a grocery store if you need a few essentials.
Close to the historic prison and a couple of other museums. Left a couple of items in the room and they were more than happy to send them. Thanks so much to the good people there!!
It looks as though they attempted to refresh the rooms but it falls short. The outside of the building gives a negative first impression which is then hard to overcome once you enter in. The beds were uncomfortable and it was noisy. The whole town needs a renovation! But the prison tour is interesting!
Nice , clean rooms, and convenient to Museums. Staff was friendly and accommodating. TV relied on wi-fi and did not connect. Outside was old and in process of updating.
Convenient snd good price
Old hotel, needs a lot of updating. Fan in bathroom really loud and clanking. Otherwise clean and comfortable.
