All Appartmens in the basement where the AC devices are istalled. Bathroom has no Window. With closed door it is smelling...

Breakfast was limited but very good, room service was good too. Due to the location it might be best to eat at the hotel in the evening, unless you are very familiar with Dar. Massage and swimming pool at the hotel were also very nice. Most appreciated was probably Aisha (working at reception desk), she was always ready to help out if I had any question

The bathroom might need a checkup, the jacuzzi of the bath wasn't working and when draining the water from the bathtub, lots of dirty water came out of the sink of the shower. I guess it needed some flushing, so might be solved now. Concerning the tv, the connection wasn't always stable, as a result you couldn't always select what you wanted to see, but that's just a detail.

I had a wonderful stay at Blackwood Hotel and would absolutely stay here again. The hotel was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked great throughout my stay, the shower had reliable hot water, and the pool was a lovely place to relax. One of the highlights was the breakfast—it was absolutely amazing and definitely worth trying. The food was fresh, delicious, and a great way to start the day. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, and courteous, always willing to help with a smile. Overall, this was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in Dar es Salaam. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
