Neocolonial Nouveau Kensington Vacation Home

I am going to preface it by saying this should be 4.5 stars. The half star deduction is because there was no hot water on my first day and although it was rectified, I had to take a cold shower as I could not wait 30 minutes because I was in a time crunch. It was quite proximal to a bus station and Vancouver does have a robust public transport system. It was close to a park and you should try St Germain bakery which is close. The Pros- dimmer and motion controllled lights. The attention to detail with labeling everything. The gas stove. The decor. The responsiveness. Cons- no hot water one time, the lights werent bright enough in the room when needed. There were some cobwebs I noticed. The quiet time was a bit weird. I wasn't sure if making breakfast during that time qualified as inappropriate. In conclusion, this was a fantastic stay!

Facilities

Everything was thought of, from the kitchen supplies to the laundry. Bed was super comfortable, hosts were friendly and decor was gorgeous. Only downside was having to carry my suitcase up stairs but that's my fault for over packing!

I believe this is my most unique stay for my entire 21 day trip! It met all of my needs and expectations and was beautifully appointed and comfortable!

Excellent location in quiet neighborhood just outside the downtown area. Easy and safe street parking. Convenient and affordable to take taxi/rideshares to the downtown area. Beds were comfortable. Rooms were clean and maintained and there are plenty of amenities if you want to use the kitchen and laundry facilities. Great place to stay!!

I was a little surprised when I first arrived and realized I would have to share a bathroom with other people staying there. Fortunately, I was able to get a private room with a washroom.
