Casa do Vidoeiro

I stayed in "Medronheiro", a "double room with mountain views". There were good views of the parish church and out over the countryside to distant mountains Bedroom bright, modern. The air conditioning was effective. Benamôr toiletries. Breakfast a good buffet, though a bit restless.

Bedroom small. No table/ work surface (there is a strange rack perhaps for luggage), no fridge or room safe. Wardrobe with a sliding door that covers half of it. Poor wifi (one or two bars, would sometimes cut out). Bathroom gloomy dark colours, small, limited shelf space, basin too small for decently washing a shirt. On my booking form l had indicated a mid-morning arrival. I was told early check-in would cost €15. I said l would just leave my bags, for which there was no charge. When l arrived mid-morning the room happened to be ready and l checked in with no charge.

We were treated very kindly when we arrived. I had fallen in the street and my hand was bleeding. Fatima cleaned my wound and gave me a plaster. Our motorbike was broken and she gave us a lot of support and made some phone calls for us. Her kindness was very much appreciated. The room was very comfortable and clean while we waited for the bike to be fixed. They called a taxi to take us to the garage. So much help. We didn’t get to see the area but if we return we would definitely stay at this hotel.

Tudo é perfeito: o alojamento, a localização, o pequeno-almoço, tudo orientado para que o hóspede tenha a melhor experiência. Todas as funcionárias foram extremamente simpáticas e prestáveis, com excelentes sugestões de restaurantes e de atividades para fazer em Seia e nas redondezas. A piscina tem.uma localização excelente com uma vista deslumbrante. Obrigado por tudo.

Perfectly positioned above town with exceptional views across the city and countryside. Modern facilities, comfortable beds and excellent staff. Nice breakfast available. Pool is a bonus.
