Star Inn Motel

Excellent customer service, for the most part clean and the area felt safe and was exactly what we wanted for our 20 min walk to the Pacific Amphitheater. We were in room 106, the shower was remodeled at some point, which was nice and the pressure was great, plenty of HOT water! :) The mattress was comfortable, the AC works really well, fridge works great, and love the free parking with our car directly across from our room. No weird smells and surprisingly not noisy being so close to the freeway. My only suggestion would be to fix the broken table in the room and wipe down the walls, lots of handprints, lol, but other than that, we’d be back.

Close to a nice area. Walking shower which was nice.

Towels were dirty, no coffee machine.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower head was nice with adjustable flows and patterns for a relaxing rejuvenating shower. The were plenty of outlets for chargers and other items. The room was well lit with dimmable lighting at each bedside. The room also had a microwave and mini refrigerator.

There wasn't a coffee maker in the room or a closet to hang clothes.

Dog poop on stairs. Dingy pillow case. Hair in sink. Snot(?) on bathroom wall.

Had a very nice stay. Bed was comfortable. Room was nice. Shower was nice. Don't forget your own shampoo and conditioner. They have all in one and it totally dries out your hair and no blow dryer.

Stayed mid July. I would stay here again. Pros-the inn looks recently renovated. Clean new room inside. Maid service was fine. Directv. Powerful a/c unit. Lots of lighting. Plenty of parking, Good price, close to beach n highway, walkable to restaurant n gas station, 420 store next to it but i didn’t smell weed. Cons-no safe, towels are old, highway across the street so it can be loud at times, little bars of soap n packets of shampoo, no ice machine, staff not the warmest but i could care less, bed is a bit springy and moves across the floor too easily-not good for jamming.

Room was fairly clean. Stairway and railing breaking off. No elevator. Lots of things in disrepair. No ice machine. No hairdryer. Remote doesn't work unless standing right in front of tv. Mattress has stains on it. Sand on floor never was cleaned up. OK if you need a cheap place t stay, but don't expect anything nice.
