The Common Man Inn & Lodge, Plymouth

I found out when I checked that my room is offsite. I did not know they have extra rooms somewhere else.

I was not happy to find out at check in that I am not staying in the main charming inn but at a generic offsite location that used to be a cheap motel

Everything about this place is beautiful. From the outside until you walk through the door. The people the pictures the service the spa and the restaurant were all top notch. I recommend it highly

We were really excited to stay here, as the ads online looked awesome! First, the positives. Our room was amazing! It was huge, full of character, and our 13 year old loved it. The TV didn't work; someone from the front desk came up to fix it and said that many of them are fussy and they are doing this all the time. The on-site restaurant was just ok. Nothing special, but decent if you don't feel like going out. One of the reasons we were excited to go to this place was to use the pool facilities and hot tub. Well, the pool was FREEZING so we couldn't use that, and the hot tub was scalding hot. Like, dangerously so. Like, I felt like I burned my toes when I put them in. I told the front desk, and they said that nothing can be done! I mean, how about change the hot tub thermostat? We were not pleased. Breakfast was lackluster. The room was dark and sad, and there was no water to drink. I guess there was stuff in another room but there was no indication of that. Pastries were gross and crumbly. I'm giving it three stars because we loved the room, but overall not worth the money.

Very out dated

There’s rustic and then there’s old and dirty. Place was rundown. Pools and spas were not well maintained. Had a bagel in the morning with peanut butter it was hard as a rock. There were hardly anyone there and they put us in a handicapped room. Last time I looked I wasn’t handicapped. So disappointed. I would never go there again

What a great hotel in a sweet town near the concert venue. Made are trip so much better!

They had a very difficult situation with another guest and they handled it very well! The staff were fantastic!

Comfortable stay, very clean and the staff in all positions including the dining room were really nice and helpful!
