Eagle View Escape

Beautifully cozy and rustic, good mix of activities, walks, water activities, farm animals etc. Greatly designed for couples. Great staff. Clean and comfortable.

Only downfall was how far it is from blue mountains etc. but perfect if you are looking to get away and is still worth the travel.

This stay was fantastic it is the perfect place for a romantic weekend away. We stayed in the Chateau, which was remarkable, it had its own private garden overlooking the lake, a BBQ an outside furniture. Inside a dining table, big king bed next to a beautiful looking gas fire, there is also air-conditioning and a good kitchen and full-sized fridge. The restaurant does not open every day but open over weekends, great food and powerful cocktails as well as a big central open fireplace. We walked to the lake past alpacas, saw kangaroos and birds - truly get on the phone and make a booking. Margaret - Inspired2me4you.

Stunning views Bath was lovely (slow leak into drain but not a big issue), gas fireplace cosy, room was decent Alpacas were fun Common living room was nicely set up

No food availability on-prem outside of a couple of hours during the week i.e. fri/sat evenings, nearest supermarket 25 mins drive in Lithgow Spent half our time cooking, shopping for groceries, and washing up (no dishwasher, minimal plates and cutlery)

We had a wonderful stay at Eagle View Escape and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We booked the River View Spa room, and it exceeded our expectations. The views from the room were absolutely stunning, and it was such a lovely experience watching kangaroos hopping around right outside our courtyard. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We also appreciated having a private BBQ on the balcony, which was a convenient option when we didn’t feel like heading to the main BBQ area. One of the highlights of our stay was feeding the alpacas; such a unique and memorable experience. And also, Lake Lyell is a short walk down from the property for peaceful scenery.

The road that leads upto the property has a lot of potholes, drivers need to be really careful. The road needs to be patched up ASAP.
