Eagle View Escape

Location stunning. Beautiful lake views. Serenity. Alpaca feeding a highlight.

Bed too firm but could be just personal preference. The road in was treacherous with numerous deep potholes on steep narrow road. Would recommend not making your first trip down in the dark. And PLEASE go slow for the sake of the wildlife. It was heartbreaking to see a large kangaroo dead on our way out which could only have been the result of speed.

The view is fantastic. Hard to reach, but fair to have a panoramic view away from anything else. Surprised with a couple of kangaroos visited in the morning.

The check in arrangements. There is only a 2 hour frame for check in. I made a call for phone check in, but somehow my room, keys and instructions pack were given to someone else. They do have emergency contact for late check in. Ended up got a room arranged, but no further information was given. The room was not really ready, shower gel and facial tissues were almost out when we got there, so they didn't last for our two night stay. Spa tub was a bit old and with dirt pumping out from the pressure holes.

The Alpaca family, how peaceful it was, very private, the in room spa,the view, staff were nice and friendly! We had also planned a trip to the Japanes spa and it was only 10 minutes away!

We had some snacks ordered from the club house I guess you could call it and they weren't very good. Not inedible just needed more attention in the prep (spring rolls were only warm, garlic bread had a few pieces that barely had any garlic butter on it) Aside from this the place is PERFECT!!

Perfect location and beautiful scenery! Rooms were fantastic and the spa was so lovely to use. Definitely coming back

In the last 30 minutes of the trip, the road was full of potholes that were huge and often had to go off road to avoid.

Eagle View Escape is such a special place to visit - we absolutely loved our stay. Our room was lovely (especially the spa!) and had everything we needed. All the staff were so friendly and we loved that it has an on-site restaurant on Fridays and Saturdays.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. EVE is in a rural location, so be prepared for some bumpy roads (but it's all part of the charm!).

The view and the facilties were incredibly amazing!
