Boulder Opal Motor Inn

The air conditioning felt great- especially after a 10 hour drive in the heat.

Although our windows were closed the whole time, there were so many bugs- there were some dead in the cabinets and not cleaned up as well. Additionally, the shower heads could use a good clean

Quiet location.

Cocktoaches crawling on floors. Beds saggy and soft.

The Boulder Opal was a lovely place to stay approximately 2 years ago when I was last there . This time around it was terrible . Staff at reception were friendly though .

Dirty / greasy surfaces , cricket infestation in the room , dirty mirrors , musty smell . Gecko faeces everywhere . Lawn not fertilised or watered . Weeds everywhere . Pool was green and didn’t look right to swim in. Outside motel room was grotty and staff residence next door had empty bottles sitting on the tables . It didn’t look like it had been swept or blown in months . It was overall a very unpleasant place to stay . I was dubious about the sheets , nothing smelt fresh .

Location

There are bugs everywhere in the room, no towels, windows are not clean and lot of dead bugs stucked, floor are dirty and not vacummed and last thing too many crickets inside the room when we cheked in.

Clean and tidy.large rooms.

Pool was filthy and couldn't swim in it. No restaurant.
