Check in is simple, room was clean and exactly.what was shown in the pictures.

Parking can be difficult to find and street is very narrow. You can park in the center and walk to the apartment with an escalator.

Everything went perfectly. The accommodation was super clean, the location near Salerno city centre, the view from the balcony was another story, it was breathtaking, and the host Mr. Enrico was very polite and generous to us from the moment we met him. He waited for us in Salerno train station and took us in his private car to the room. I highly recommend booking Panacea private room, especially since the price was affordable in my opinion, especially at the season time (May 2024).

There is nothing to dislike.

The unit was well equipped and maintained and clean (apart from some dusting required under the bed which was visible). The only significant issue was a dog barking incessantly in the unit above. I went upstairs and knocked. No one answered but the barking stopped shortly thereafter. Ultimately not a big issue but also not something that we’d expected to have to deal with. The unit had fantastic views and ambiance. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
