Desert Flower Boutique Hotel

The proprietors have done a beautiful job of renovating and remodeling an old motel. The design and quality of work done are excellent. The landscaping is good, and will be developing into excellent as plants mature. The home cooked breakfast is great. The only reservation, that prevented an "excellent" overall all rating, is that the units are very small. Ours measured about 15' x 21', and this included the bathroom, which was about 7' x 9'. The sink was tiny, and a small shelf substituted for a larger countertop. We would recommend this place for somebody traveling light, who wouldn't feel the need to spend much time in the unit.

I am so glad we stayed at The Desert Flower Boutique Hotel! It was truly a gem and a delight to stay here. From the moment we arrived, the scenery was absolutely beautiful overlooking the mountains and the paintings and flowers were beautiful! The check in process was also super convenient. Upon arriving to our room, the first thing I noticed was the art and the cleanliness of our room. The overall aesthetic and ambiance was truly one of a kind. Beds were comfortable and the location was safe. The breakfast and coffee in the morning was also very delicious and pleasant! The owner was also very kind and welcoming. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and would come back here in the future.

This stay was excellent. The soaps, shampoo, conditioner were all handmade. We stayed in the room that had a personal hot tub outside & it was wonderful. The breakfast was great. I have zero complaints. It was quiet. Self check in was super. Everything was clean. The lady who made our breakfast was very sweet and fast. The man who was cleaning the rooms was nice as well! She made us blueberry muffins that were to die for. I ordered an extra half a dozen and I ate three of them in the same day! The land seemed very private, and quiet, and safe. You can see the garden they use for the breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

The owners of the Desert Flower Boutique Hotel are absolutely wonderful. The hotel has been restored and the renovated rooms were clean and tastefully decorated, complete with their own Spotify playlists, no less! The included morning breakfasts and access to coffee and tea throughout the day were welcome additions to the stay. The afternoon tea was especially nice during our wet, cold and blustery stay. The location is out of the main part of town but has easy access into Taos for dining and shopping. The parking area flooded our last day, not due to anything the owners had any control over, and they graciously worked hard to remedy the situation. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Overall, we liked our stay and especially enjoyed delicious homemade breakfast with mouthwatering blueberry muffins. I can’t say it is a truly boutique hotel; it is more of a bed and breakfast type of accommodation. The room is of relatively good size, but the bathroom is tiny and it is only one little shelf to put the toiletries on. We stayed in the room called Quartz, so maybe other rooms have bigger bathrooms. We had a good night sleep - it was really quiet despite the proximity to the busy road. The nature around is peaceful with picturesque mountains at the distance . In general, we are not fans of B&Bs, but for those who enjoy them, it is a perfect choice. The owners are very welcoming and engaging - a big plus.

Everything was outstanding. They have obviously done a lot of renovations. Bathroom shower was spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh eggs from their hens. Blueberry muffins in the morning!! Exceptional.

The owners have added so many unique touches. Each room is designed by a local artist. Ours had a copper soaking tub- heaven. Breakfast was included and amazing. Homemade blueberry muffins and fresh eggs from the chickens out back! The hosts made us feel right at home

A charming, clean, and well-run Inn. We loved the private hot tub, good breakfast, and location. Best to the lovely innkeepers.

Wonderful Breakfast & Experience everytime

We loved everything about our stay. Our room was so cozy. We stayed in Room 7, the heart shape hottub was so relaxing and a perfect way to end the day. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Great service. 10/10 recommend
