Pretty much the location was the only good thing about this rental.

Communication with the people responsible for the apartment was terrible. Everything seemed very well taken care of until arrival. They created a WhatsApp group with 3 people to make communication easier. However, the response to requests for clarification and support was very limited. The television didn't work for almost the entire stay, and management didn't communicate in any way that there was no hot water in the apartment and that there was no possibility of remedying the situation. After two days, given the conditions, we decided to book another apartment, with the promise from management that the value of the unused days would be refunded, but with very little explanation. After all this, I continued to receive automated messages (several!) wishing me a pleasant stay and informing me how to check out (almost a week after we left). I felt there was a lack of communication and professionalism.

The apartment is very comfortable, with a large terrace and a beautiful view. The location is excellent. The apartment has everything you need. The driveway is quite steep, but that's how streets are in Madeira. The views make up for it all.

We hebben nooit in Villa Winter gezeten omdat er geen warm water was.. we kregen een huis aangeboden op 4km uit het centrum.

Het was er steenkoud en was met 2 kleine elektrische radiatoren ook niet te verwarmen. Te ver uit het centrum en daar kom je voor. Oven werkte niet naar behoren, magnetron ook niet. Deuren klemmen of gingen helemaal niet open. Kwamen op een gegeven moment toilet niet meer uit. Was allemaal veel gedoe. Hebben de verhuurder ook nooit gezien en waren dus eerst tevergeefs naar Villa Winter gereden en hebben daar 1 1/2 uur staan wachten. Pas na bellen kregen we te horen dat we ergens anders naar toe moesten.

View is fantastic, rooms larger than expected. Good location.

Finding a parking lot sometimes hard but possible. There was no hot water in 2 last days. Kitchen fully equipped.

The appartment was in an excellent location.

The layout with the kitchen being on the balcony which is tricky to access when it is raining.
