Only the Bangladeshi (EMAD) porter was very helpful and kind.

Location. Need robotic legs. Busses are useless. Huge distances to cover on foot even when using busses.

I was extremely disappointed by the way this issue was handled. At the time of check-out, one of the staff suddenly instructed the reception to charge me SAR 250, claiming that the toilet seat cover was cracked on one side. During my 35 years of travelling and staying in hotels around the world, I have never encountered such unprofessional treatment. No room inventory or condition report was provided when I checked in, nor was any existing damage brought to my attention. Therefore, it is unreasonable and unfair to assume that I caused the damage. The hotel should have conducted a proper investigation before making any accusation. Toilet seat covers are subject to wear and tear, and cracks often develop over time due to poor maintenance or weakening at the hinges. Simply finding a crack does not prove that the guest caused it. Charging a guest without evidence, inspection records, or an opportunity to discuss the matter is unacceptable. Such behaviour reflects poorly on the hotel's standards and customer service. Being charged SAR 250 without proof has left me with a very bad impression. What disappointed me even more was not the amount itself, but the apparent greed and lack of professionalism in dealing with a loyal paying customer. This was, unfortunately, one of the worst hotel experiences I have had.
