The rooms were nice

The hotel staff was way unter my expectations for a hotel managed by such a big chain as Marriott! I booked a room for 3 ADULTS through Booking.com and when I arrived they told me they have no such room and max. Occupancy is 2 Adults. They basically forced me to book a second room for the additional person and offered me no other alternative, no compensation, no discount! I was so mad, but I believed naively that I could clear up the situation afterwards though booking.com customer service as I am on genius level 3. But apparently the Hotel never bothered to answer to customer service. The only compensation I got was 25€ from booking, which is ridiculous, considering our hotel-expenses were double what’s we planned four our stay! 😡 I wouldn’t book this hotel again and I‘ll try to avoid Marriott in future! It‘s not what it used to bed to be!

The hotel is located on a very busy street, full of restaurants and convenience stores and at walking distance to the metro station. The room was quite spacious and clean, the bathroom was modern, very bright and also clean, well equipped with all necessary amenities. The lady at the cafe in the morning was very kind and allowed us to take some food four our baby after checkout.

No crib was provided for our baby, despite our request made at the booking phase (we did not ask for it again in the hotel). We were initially assigned to a room with a very strong smell of cigarettes and we were moved immediately after our request to another room.

Απολαύσαμε τη διαμονή μας στο ξενοδοχείο, εξαιρετικά και τα δύο δωμάτια που κλείσαμε, καθαρά, όμορφα και περιποιημένα, είμαστε πολύ ευχαριστημένοι!

This hotel is in a prime location, where you can walk to tourist spots and business streets nearby. Excellent services(check-in and check-out, restaurant, daily room cleaning). As a newer hotel, facilities are still in great shape. Breakfast buffet offers both Chinese and western styles. Although the restaurant is not as big as some other similar hotels, its options are plenty and fresh. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to those who would like to explore old town area(Gusu).

No washing machine available.

There seems lack of training among front desk staff. Customer information was left out on the desk, which is a serious breach of privacy. It’s not acceptable.
