Music from pub downstairs was loud - but thankfully didn’t go in too late

The hotel is located in the heart of Orange which is very convenient. The hotel bistro is also open from Midday to Evening and offers a variety of meals & a good wine selection. Loved the friendly staff who were always very helpful.

Excellent location. Bistro food was good. Staff (nearly) all friendly and helpful. (One server in the bistro looked surly and would not smile!)

My friend and I shared a ‘single’ room (239), which was obviously meant to accommodate up to 3 persons with a double bed and a single bed. A pleasant room but - Only drawback for a longer visit (ours was 4 nights) was the great lack of places to put our belongings: • Bedside tables were just that - no drawers, no shelves. • Wardrobe very small, only 3 hangers, most of space occupied by an ironing board and iron. • Only one luggage rack, big enough to hold a small ‘carry on’-type of case. 2nd person had keep suitcase on the floor. Bathroom - only place to put toiletries was very limited space either side of hand basin - suggest a small shelving unit (there’s enough space in the large bathroom!). Also only one short towel rail, big enough for two hand towels. Nowhere to hang wet shower towels.

The staff were lovely. The location is fabulous. The pub and restaurant was great

We were placed in an unrenovated room. Not knowing that there was the option for a renovated room. The bathroom was terrible. Original 1950's. Missing wall and floor tiles, peeling paint, old formica vanity. We would have happily paid more to have a room with a modern bathroom, but was not given the option.
