Hotel U Kaplicky

I was happy with my room and the bathroom. The staff at the reception was welcoming and helpful.

The restaurant. On both nights of our stay we were not allowed to have dinner in the restaurant, even though we were hotel guests. On the first night, a private birthday celebration took place which meant that the restaurant was closed. This however was communicated to us only a day before our arrival. On the second night, Sunday, the restaurant was closing at 7pm and that was it. This really shouldn't happen in a place that prides itself with various significant rewards... At breakfast, the staff was unfriendly, the slices of cheese on offer were dry and about 2 of them were all that was apparently left. Overall, poor range and quality of products on offer. Staff in the breakfast room / restaurant not welcoming.
