Casa Cantone - Two-Bedroom Apartment

We stayed for 3 nights,4 people and they told us that we have to purchase our own toilet paper, hand wash etc because it was a long stay in the apartment. This will be kind of okay if they told us earlier, either via message or in the booking page, so we do not end up Sunday afternoon without them and search all the city to buy a full package of toilet paper when we just needed one more. In the photo attached, it is saying that this was provided. This is not about the cost, it is about the "great Sunday afternoon experience"

Great location. Very clean and tidy house. Everything needed for a short stay was thought of and provided.

High levels of humidity, to the point of smelling it in the air. We had to switch on the dry function on the 2 air-conditioners at the expense of heating.

Location was perfect. Coffee/tea provided Shower gel etc Beds were comfortable, had a good nights sleep.

Handrail up the stairs could be better The shower curtain needs to be longer so that the water stays in the shower and not all over the floor Also the shower head needs a holder on the wall, perhaps a rail, to put it into facing downward. In the smaller bedroom there is no where to hang any clothes and could also do with having a bedside cabinet both sides of the bed.

We had to vacate this property very quickly. There was black mould and wet damp covering the wall in our 1yr olds room and a smell of damp throughout the flat. The downstairs area had mould around the kitchen area and hidden behind the curtains covering one wall. It had clearly been painted recently to try and hide the damp issues. This is a huge safety concern as a family with a young child. The bathroom was inadequate to shower in and had no ventilation at all and the kitchen not equipped at all. We stay in apartments in Corfu Town regularly at weekends and were shocked that this property was available to rent in its condition. Upon writing to the company and attaching photos, they refused to reimburse us.

Breakfast wasn't included. Location was good. Quiet and safe area.

Not enough kitchen facilities for preparing meal if it is necessary. Would be nice to have a proper kitchen utensils set and might be a good frying pan.
