It was a good location for where I needed to be. It had parking and the room was clean.
It was suppose to be a twin room and yes there were two single beds, but it was a shoe box compared to the previous hotel I stayed in the week before. I paid £6 less in that hotel and was given a family suite. The room in this hotel was on the very top floor… narrow staircase leading to the room. The room must have been divided from the one next door! The wall was so thin I could hear literally everything the bloke was doing - playing music loud, using the bathroom and opening windows - all in the early hours! I didn’t have a very good nights sleep!! Therefore sound proofing would be recommended for these rooms!! On entry to the hotel, the man on reception wasn’t overly welcome, got a grunt of hello and then didn’t fill me with confidence that my room was booked until I showed him confirmation. To which he then just handed me a key and told me where my room was! I have stayed in 3 hotels over the last month in Banbury and this was definitely the worst and I paid the most. Will not be staying here if needed to in the future.
