Hôtel Résidence Monia COMPLETELY RENOVATED

This hotel has been completely renovated to a western and modern standard in every aspect. We liked it so much that we booked to stay an extra night. Previous bad reviews all correspond to the time before it was renovated. The 2 gentlemen on reception (day and night staff) were courteous, friendly and helpful. The hotel is located just behind the train station and off the main road to the Corniche. In easy reach of restaurants, the beach, the medina and transport links, such as louage stops to Monastir. The room is well lit, has a balcony and all furnishings are good quality. The shower was excellent with immediate hot water. We would not hesitate to stay here again as it is excellent value for money and the perfect location.

Très bon hôtel dans sa catégorie, très bon emplacement. L'hôtel est très propre, bien situé juste à côté de la médina, les chambres sont agréables et bien chauffées, ce qui n'est pas négligeable en janvier car les soirées peuvent être fraîches. Bonne literie et un bon confort général, on s'y sent bien. A deux pas des restaurants et épicerie ouverte tard ; plages et transports en commun. Personnel sympathique et soucieux de ses hôtes. J'y reviendrai sans hésiter. Enfin l'hôtel est plutôt calme pour l'hypercentre, la rue est piétonne donc on entend pas les voitures. Parfois un peu de musique mais ce sont les vibes de la vie urbaine, rien de désagréable.

Rien de négatif, j'ai passé un très bon séjour ( même si le confort pourrait être encore amélioré par des doubles vitrages côté rue.) Sinon les avis très négatifs sont apparemment antérieurs à la rénovation ce qui ne rend pas justice à cet hôtel qui est vraiment très bien. Pour les critiques qui ont des exigences de palace, eh bien logez dans des cinq étoiles, il y en a plein à Sousse ( avec des prix bien plus hauts). Il faut être réaliste quant à ses attentes donc pour moi c'est un très bon deux étoiles avec un emplacement au top qui permet de profiter de la chouette ville de Sousse

シャワーとトイレ、洗面所に区切りがなく、シャワーの水はけも悪かったため、水が部屋まで進水しそうになった。

Worth for the money. Lovely staff. Very close to amenities. Fridge in the room, balcony, air con as well and daily cleaner provided.

The facility could be cleaner - the washroom had hair on the floor (from previous occupant) and the glasses were filthy.

Spacious enough room, I had everything I needed for my stay and for the money it was a good value. The mattress was comfy and the room was also quiet which was very important for me, since I struggle to sleep when there's loads of noise. The owner of the hotel whatsapped me on arrival asked if all was well and if I needed anything, so I felt if I needed anything during my stay I can just ask. The hotel is close to a lot of things, like the train station, medina , port, beach, sahel metro and also there's loads of eateries around. And also both receptionists were kind and friendly.
