The Old Coach House - Converted barn with private garden parking and fireplace

Location perfect for Totnes. Barn was delightful, spacious and full of character, as well as thoughtful touches like fresh roses and a welcome hamper. Felt very homely and ideal for me and my parents.

Nothing to criticise but maybe the larder spices could be refreshed a little! Honestly struggled to think of anything negative

The house was next to a busy road so we could hear traffic most of the day and evening

Spacious accommodation with some quirkiness to give it character. Appreciated the fact that the place was warm on arrival at 8pm on a cold February evening and that there blankets on the beds for extra warmth.

The double bed was quite a work of art with a good quality mattress and our granddaughter liked hiding underneath it, but it wasn't the easiest bed to get in and out of. We were making sure our granddaughter was always closely supervised but were concerned that the low windows upstairs did not seem to have locks on them - fortunately she did not try to open and escape through them.

A sad relecti9n id poor communicati9ns between promoter's and owners. No hot water except for dishwaher and one shower. The gas was disconnected from the property due to a previous suspected gas leak. We wasted valuable time, energy and resources trying to resolve. Great property with owner motives we do not understand. A great opportunity to practise Wilm Hof method's. Pooer service indeed.

POOR SERVICE.

The house was spacious and looked nice inside. It was clean.

The main problem was that we felt cold inside all the time. There was a central heating system, but it could not generate enough warmth inside. The rooms were big and spacious but the radiators were far too small. No extra heating goods were provided. Dubets were thin and no extra blankets were provided. The ceiling windows were above the beds and the drafts coming from the windows, which kept us awake at night. I felt my head was always cold in bed. The height of the double bed was far too high and could not climb up from the side. It could be even dangerous if you fall from the bed at night. There was a car parking space, but far too small for a big car to reverse and to get out easily. Netflix was available, but the main screen was shown in a foreign language and could not change to English. Normal TV channels were not available. Always we have to search from I-player. No kitchen towels.

Would have been nice to have a little more soap and possibly a few biscuits or treats - do t coat much but plenty of goodwill
