OYO Hotel Ocala, FL I-75

There were 2 lizards and several roaches within the room. There was no hot water and parking area was kinda sketchy. Drive by the place several times looking for the sign that said Oyo Hotel but there was a different name on billboard. When explaining that to the lady at front desk, she said it said Oyo on the front counter banner. I told her I couldn’t see that from the road. Thank god for GPS.

Parking appeared safe and clean. A/c worked well. Good value for the money.

The interior was very unfinished. The pillow case appeared to have blood stains. Asked for additional pillows and we never received. I could not sleep because I had no pillows. The shower was scary I could not take a shower for fear of grossness. I had to pay another 50 as a deposit

Motel location

The A/C unit was extremely filthy, vents and filter were nearly clogged up and control panel was dirty. Also, there was a full size refrigerator in the room, the door was completely rusted. There is a plug-in type light at the door entrance with the cord hanging down, I tried to plug it in the electrical outlet but was unable because there is paint blocking the outlet. I should have taken photos, you would be appalled.

The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was incredible. Very friendly very welcoming and very helpful. The price was really awesome.
