Villa Paradissi in Crete

Stunning views of the bay and surrounding hills from the house and garden (we stayed at the one, which has its own garden, terrace and bbq, located highest on the hillside). Everything is very well kept and clean. Very nice shared swimming pool a few flight of stairs down. We spent most of our time at the house in the end, as it was so relaxing. There is a constant breeze of air, sometimes even windy, which makes the hot days very pleasant, and makes the palm tree leaves sound like ocean waves crashing on the shore.

Place is only accessible by car, mini market is only 230 meters away, but not very safe to walk to on the side of the winding mountain roads. Host did not meet us at all, just gave directions via messages/phone calls. Did not always respond within 24 hours, but otherwise very kind and to the point communication.
