Villa Eiras Altas Grande by Portucasa

Stuart and Angie, managing the property, were very helpful and endeavoured to fix all the hickups after our arrival. For their kindness i'd have liked to give a better rating. The house has massive potential with a little bit more care. We loved the amount of dishes, cutlery, glasses and the fact that there is a working dish washer and washing machine, even with detergent. The view from the house is very nice and it's a calm spot. Many rooms have A/C (we didn't need it, but it's an extra plus).

Unfortunately, the lack of care the house receives is more than notable. In the beginning, warm water wasn't working and the water pressure was either non existent or made e.g. a shower on the first floor impossible. The pool could be nice but was left dirty with leaves of the last at least 5-7(?) days. The residues on the ground left our sportswear with green stains. The guy taking care of the pool however, only put a robot to clean the floor the very day before our departure. It needs better care!
